Goal of the Life Night:

The goal is to break open the significance of the Mass, both entire and in all its parts, and to help teens come to a deeper understanding of “why we do what we do” at each unique point of the celebration.

Life Night at a Glance:

This LIFE Night has a mix of everything. The teenagers start by playing a fun game and are interrupted and quickly brought to a serious recreation of the passion of Christ. They will come to understand the connection between Christ’s death and the Eucharistic sacrifice. They will have an opportunity to break open the different parts of Mass and be able to explain the importance of each. After learning more about the Liturgy, the teens will be reconnected to the Resurrected Christ in a powerfull prayer experience and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. This night will leave the teens with a deeper understanding of the parts of Mass and a joy-filled excitement to celebrate the Liturgy the following Sunday. For more ideas or teaching notes associated with the sacrament of the Eucharist, refer to the LIFE TEEN video entitled, Keys to the Eucharist.
