Who is Life Teen?

We are an international Catholic ministry who believes that Eucharist-based ministry has the power to transform teens, transform parishes, and transform culture.

We have a cool Catholic website for teenagers, lifeteen.com. We’re on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. We have young adult missionaries in Georgia, Arizona, and Germany. We are in partnership with MCYM to provide Catholic youth ministry to military bases.

Life Teen Spirituality

A Movement of the Holy Spirit

We are a Eucharist-centered movement of the Holy Spirit, joyfully obedient to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church and consecrated to the Blessed Virgin Mary. Jesus Christ is at the center of who we are and of all that we do.

This spirituality guides our Life Teen staff to daily Mass, communal prayer, studying Sacred Scripture, praying the Rosary, embracing the Missionary life, and living out our Core Values.

The seven Core Values, prompted by the Holy Spirit, illustrate our spirituality, ministry model and movement: Eucharistic spirituality, Love, Joy, Affirmation, Authenticity, Evangelization, and Faithfulness to Primary Vocation

We invite you to join our international Life Teen family in a scheduled weekly Holy Hour (2 pm EST every Thursday), lifting our prayers to God for the teens and ministry entrusted to us.

Supporting Parishes

We’re here to serve you

We’re known primarily for our parish-based Life Teen ministry for high school teenagers that is used by over 1100 Catholic parishes around the world. In 2003, we launched a national Edge ministry for middle school kids which is now used by almost 600 parishes.

Smart Resources.

To help parishes keep their youth ministries strong, offer Life Support and Edge Support, boxes resources that we mail out three times a year. Inside are planning guides for a teen Mass, youth group meetings (we call them Life Nights), retreats, service projects, Bible studies, etc. Life Teen programs have access to 1000s of pages of printable resources here online. Plus we publish original books and resources.

Staff Support.

We care about you! We have an expansive support network of Area Contacts throughout the US to make sure every Life Teen program gets support. Events & Conferences

Connecting and Empowering Catholic Leaders

For Adults

Every year we host over 25 con­fer­ences around the coun­try to train a com­bined 2700 adult min­is­ters: youth min­is­ters, music min­is­ters, core mem­bers, and priests. These train­ing con­fer­ences help build stronger Catholic youth ministry by help­ing lead­ers tune into youth cul­ture to find new ways to share our Catholic faith.

For Teens

We also host 10,000 teenagers at regional events includ­ing Life Teen Lead­er­ship Con­fer­ence, Steubenville Con­fer­ences, and the Inspi­ra­tion Tour.

Summer Camps

One week at camp, a life changed forever.

Every summer over 2100 teenagers are given a life-changing week of adven­ture, prayer, and sacra­ments in a fun envi­ron­ment at Life Teen and Edge Summer camps. Through­out the rest of the year, parishes use our camps to host retreats and spe­cial events.
