Bovine Voyage: A video about our newest Life Support Toy

2013-02_CYM-BovineVoyage

Every four months I get to do something amazing along with the rest of our Life Teen staff: We put together and ship Life Support boxes to over 1300 parishes worldwide. It is an incredible experience watching the blessings and fruits of prayer, hard work, and a great team come together in these boxes. I also have a lot of fun thinking about how parishes are going to implement the resources we send, and waiting to hear some glory stories back in the months that follow.

Of course, some of the resources may not be implemented right away, but we do know one item that is going to get taken out of the box right away – the Life Teen toy. I’m not going to lie, I have a lot of fun picking out that toy and shipping it out in Life Support. This round I put a bit of my heart and heritage in the box with a flying cow (I’m from Wisconsin, and I’ve always wanted to fly like Superman). We’ve already heard from parishes that have really enjoyed the toy, but check out this video from Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Hamburg, New York. This brought joy to my day – and I hope it will bring some joy to yours.

I spent most of my 8th grade year in detention because there wasn’t a dare I wouldn’t accept. But in high school, my youth minister dared me to follow Christ and I haven’t looked back. I love all things Wisconsin, especially the Green Bay Packers. I can probably eat more cheese than you. (Please don’t dare me to prove it.)
