Retreats

Alive Again: Parent Retreat

A Parent Life retreat is a solid foundation that allows parents to not only deepen their own faith but the spirituality of their family. Parents often feel they are too busy to attend faith formation offered in their parishes and many feel unprepared to spiritually lead their children. A retreat offers parents a chance to experience the fullness of their faith in the sacraments and develop community with other parents. It can also place a desire in the parents to continue to learn more about God’s love and to allow themselves to open to God’s assistance in their daily lives and in their families.

This retreat is based on the promise of new life given to us through the Paschal Mystery. By walking through the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ, the parents will encounter Christ in an intimate and powerful way. This retreat is designed to lead the parents to the Sacraments and challenge them to be witnesses of the Good News to their families and communities.

Spotlight Magazine

Spotlight 08: Year For Priests

This issue of Life Support has a special focus on priests, and includes a Life Night to honor the priests at your parish. It also includes articles that help youth ministers learn how to work with (rather than against) parents, honor their parish priest, and recognize the universal Church in their own parish.
