Goal for the Life Night:
The goal of this LIFE night is to lead the teens closer to Christ by revealing the big picture of God’s overall plan and where sin fits in that picture, clearing up the misconceptions that many teens have.
Life Night at a Glance:
This night is designed to show the teens how vital it is to the Christian life to have a strong moral foundation, instituted by God. Through a fun gathering/opening exercise, the teens will begin to draw a correlation to the “foundation” their moral house is built upon. Next through a skit/video, they will begin to see the connection between the Law of Moses (Old Testament) and the Law of Christ (New Testament) and how the two give us the basis of how to live from now on. The teaching is the basis for the entire semester, one which other nights will flow from. An interactive small group (video) exercise will lead into a large group rap and commissioning of the teens to go forward and live righteously, living the “law of love” into which we have been baptized.
