Hi Friends!

Today I am putting a call out to all women reading my blog. Have you signed up for the Life Teen Women’s Retreat? And if you have, did you invite a friend? Because if you have not done either, you should!

I am really excited for the women who are choosing this weekend as their personal “get away time.” The team of people working on this retreat is made up of some of the finest women that I know professionally and personally. We have retreatants from all over the country, and even Africa!

The theme for this year’s retreat is: “The Genius of Woman”. Many of you have asked me what that means. Now, I don’t want to give you all of the secrets, so here is just a taste of what the weekend will entail:

This retreat is an opportunity for women of all ages and background to explore the truth about their feminine identity. Based on the writings of JPII, this retreat will look at how we as women are called to mirror the Church as the bride of Christ. In particular, this weekend will look at how we are called to embody and reflect the Sacraments of the Church in everyday life.
