Goal for the Life Night:

The goal for this night is for the teens to get an understanding of the early Church community and how the letters and writings of the New Testament helped to shape, form and instruct the early Church. This night should also help the teens see how these writings are still relevant for their lives as well as their call to be a witness of Christ just as Paul was.

Life Night at a Glance:

This is a night with a LOT of information to cover, but it is important is for them to understand how these books paint a picture of the early Church and the work of God in spreading Christianity after Christ’s ascension. The first part of the night is a skit in which Paul is put on trial for his role in the spread of Christianity. The skit will give an overview of Acts as well as the Epistles. The second half of the night looks at our call to be a witness, as Paul was. The night ends with the teens getting a chance to develop and share their testimony.
