Catholic filmmakers of ‘Bella’ visit Life Teen

It’s not often that a film leaves you wanting to stand up and cheer. It’s even less often that a film leaves you speechless. It is (unfortunately) almost never that a film accentuates the beauty and sanctity of human life.

All that is about to change.

I’m not exaggerating when I say that the new film Bella (slated for mass release on October 26th) will not only do all of the above, but it will leave you even more proud to be Catholic and pro-life.

Recently, we invited two of the producers of Bella, Eduardo Verastegui and Leo Severino, to join us at Life Teen Studios in Phoenix, for a unique, “behind-the-scenes” interview with these two Catholic filmmakers.

Eduardo, Mark, and Leo.

Eduardo Verastegui, the star of the film, is one of the most recognizable faces in all of Latin America… he’s a strong screen presence with an even stronger, authentic love for the Catholic Church. Leo Severino, also one of the co-writers of Bella, is not only a strong Catholic, but a former LT Core Member and Youth Minister at one of our Life Teen programs in Orange County, CA.

We’re including part of the interview as well as the film’s trailer on the Video Support DVD which mails out in the new Life Support Box on September 28th. In addition, we’ll have additional excerpts and clips from our interview being posted on our websites as the film’s premiere draws closer.

This is a unique opportunity to support filmmakers who are genuinely living their Catholic faith, as well as a chance to share a strong message regarding the beauty and dignity of life with all in your family, Life Teen ministries and greater parish community.

I strongly encourage you to share the resources we’re sending you, and to go online to the official website for Bella.

This is a gift to your soul and the souls to whom you minister.

Peace,

Mark

My childhood plan was to be a jedi. My teenage plan was to be on Saturday Night Live. God's plan was to have me in ministry. God won - and I'm glad He did.
