Goal for the Life Night:
The goal of this night is to bring teens into a deeper understanding of how the Church started, how they are an integral part of it, and what the ongoing mission of the Church is.
Life Night at a Glance:
This night is a spoof of the popular MTV series entitled, “CRIBS” in which famous people lead viewers through their homes. You have a choice of making your own video of your youth minister’s home or to create your own skit and decorate your LIFE Night room as someone’s home. This opening will lead into the teaching which can be done live or you can use the Video from the I.V. Loop #8, which highlights the top 10 moments in Church History. From there, the teenagers will be broken into their small family groups that we encourage you to use for the rest of the semester. These groups will form a tight bond and will increase in number as the teenagers are inviting more people to come to LIFE Nights. The night ends with a short video of your parish Church and then each small family group commits to doing three things over the course of the next week to build up the parish Church.
