Hi Glenna,

The name "Edge" has no meaning per letter. The name of our Middle School youth ministry is just Edge. It's technically not uppercase on every letter. Hope this helps.

I am looking for the direct meaning of each letter - E - D - G - E. I need it to set up a video site that will carry a logo that our group has come up with but needs that component to make it more fluid. Thank you for your help.

Great article. Not for liturgy, but I happen to be a BIG FAN of the parody song "This Time of Forty Days." Here's a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCmn7pDgXlc

Greetings & Blessings Craig,

I great appreciate your post I think you are spot on! I would however like to also encourage parishes to rediscover some of the Church's treasure chest of sacred music for Lent.

For instance, I think Lent is a great time to introduce the parish to plainchant - especially through the use of the Jubilate Deo Mass settings. Whether it's in english or latin is up to the parish, but I feel that these mass parts greatly serve the simplicity that you advocate for at the beginning of this post.

Also, for what it's worth, I've grow fond of the hymn "Attende Domine" and made an acoustic arrangement here:

While this video was kind of "on the spot" I think it communicates the simplicity with which you can approach a traditionally "chanted" song and appropriate it to a contemporary "feel". I know artist like Sarah Hart or yourself could probably do a much better with the execution. Anyways, any feedback is appreciated

Yes, men can still apply. We're closing off applications for women since we already have too many.
