This retreat is based on the book written by the late Michael Yaconelli. Michael Yaconelli was the owner and co-founder of Youth Specialties who tragically died in a car accident in October of 2003. His ideas and passion have changed youth ministry, as we know it. As a friend of Life Teen, Michael had experienced Life Teen at St. Timothy’s in Mesa, Arizona in January of 2003.
Dangerous Wonder, The Adventure of Childlike Faith, is a tremendous book for Christians of all ages. Our goal with this retreat is to revitalize Core members and help them to reconnect to their child-like passion. This retreat will give your Core an opportunity to dream, to listen, to play, to affirm, and to commit their ministry to Christ. This retreat will be an opportunity to invest in the people that are in direct contact with your teenagers and ultimately take your Life Teen ministry to the next level.
