Many of you have been asking about the status of the Basic/EDGE conference in Houston on Oct 12-15, 2008 at St. Anthony of Padua. We apologize for the delay of information available as we were waiting for the hotels in The Woodlands (outside of Houston) to get back to us about the level of damage they received.

1. At this time, the La Quinta is unable to guarantee that they will be able to accommodate our participants. We encourage you to book your rooms at the Drury.
2. The Drury Inn did suffer some damages but they will be up and running for the conference. They have given us a new number to call to make reservations: 800-325-0720. Reference “Life Teen conference” and the location – The Woodlands, TX. Some participants have called and the Drury has told them they are not taking reservations until Oct 31st. This is not the case for the Life Teen conference. If you run into this problem, please email or call our office.
3. As posted before, the Drury will only guarantee rooms to Life Teen until Sept 25th. After this, rooms will be given based upon availably. Because the Houston area is full of recovery personnel, finding hotels rooms may be a challenge. DO NOT WAIT!!!
4. St. Anthony of Padua is doing very well. The electricity is on and they are back up and running with their youth programs.
