Job Description
The Director of Youth Ministry will provide mature and spiritually uplifting leadership to our wonderful middle and high school ministries (EDGE and LifeTeen) and work closely with our Director of Faith Formation on our Confirmation preparation program. Ministry includes faith formation, retreats, Bible studies and other events to help foster spiritual growth as well as a Catholic faith life that never ceases. Applicant must be a passionately practicing Catholic, knowledgeable in his or her faith with a passion for ministering to youth in line with the call to a New Evangelization. The preferred applicant will have had 1-3 years of prior ministry experience and possess a degree or certification in youth ministry, theology or a related field. Skills with social media and technology preferred.
Applicant must successfully pass a Level II (FBI) Criminal History Background check and attend Safe Environment training. Excellent benefits, Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
