Job Description
St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Frederick, Maryland is seeking a full-time person to build young disciples by developing and implementing a comprehensive approach in youth ministry in the areas of group building, prayer, sacraments, discipleship, mission, and outreach. The Director of Youth Ministry will be responsible for the parish Life Teen and Edge Programs, coordinating the Confirmation preparation program, organizing opportunities for teens to grow in their faith and to provide opportunities to put that faith into action. The candidate is required to have a college degree with minimum of 3 years of full time experience in youth ministry. Knowledge of Spanish is helpful.
