In January we announced a very cool partnership between Life Teen and Holy Spirit College that would provide free college tuition to students who were interested in serving the Church after graduation. So if you know a teen in your group who wants to eventually become a missionary, youth minister, consecrated religious, or priest, then please let them know about this opportunity! -Matt Smith
Holy Spirit College Life Teen Scholarship Application, 2011 – 2012 School Year
About the Scholarship
Through the generosity of Holy Spirit College in Atlanta, Georgia, Life Teen is pleased to announce the Holy Spirit-Life Teen Scholarship. This scholarship will be provided to candidates currently involved in their Life Teen parish who desire a Theology, Philosophy, Psychology or Catholic Education degree from Holy Spirit College. This scholarship is renewable for four years given that academic and disciplinary standards are met during that period. Three scholarship levels are being offered:
-
Level 1 Scholarship
Upon approval by Life Teen and acceptance into Holy Spirit College and a signed non-binding letter of intent, this candidate will receive a 100% tuition scholarship at Holy Spirit College. This scholarship is available for anyone pursuing a religious vocation and entering seminary or religious or consecrated life after college or otherwise working full time for the Church for a minimum of two years. Alternatively, the recipient upon graduating would serve as a Life Teen missionary for two years. -
Level 2 Scholarship
Upon approval by Life Teen and acceptance into Holy Spirit College, candidates will receive a 75% tuition scholarship at Holy Spirit College, contingent upon the candidate committing, upon graduating, to serve for 1 year as either a Catholic school teacher or in Catholic youth ministry.
-
Level 3 Scholarship
Upon approval by Life Teen and acceptance into Holy Spirit College, candidates will receive a 50% tuition scholarship at Holy Spirit College and be eligible for a 25% tuition loan.
Scholarship Provisions
In all cases students are responsible for accommodation fees of approximately $1900.00 per semester. Work study programs are available in the event of financial need.

Is this scholarship only for people attending Holy Spirit College? I am attending Marian University in Indianapolis, IN and studying Pastoral Music Ministry with a minor in Pastoral Leadership. I have been playing the organ at Mass since I was in 5th grade and was my class representative for Youth Ministry every year in high school. Am I eligible for this scholarship? If not do you have any idea as to where I can find a scholarship to help me out in this journey?
