Frequently Asked Questions

  1. I never got an email with my username and password. What do I need to do?

    If you subscribe to Life Teen or Edge, you should have received an email with your new username and password. This email goes to your parish contact, which is most likely your high school youth minister. If you never received that email, give us a call at 1-800-809-3902 and we’d be glad to help you.

  2. I don’t like the password that I received. Can I change it?

    Yes! Our new system allows you to create your own password automatically. To change your password, you must first login with your username and old password. We recommend copying and pasting your password from the email you received. Once you are logged into our system, a link will appear at the top of the page that says “Parish Profile.” Click the link and scroll to the form that asks for a new password. Press “Update Profile” and your new password will work immediately.

  3. Can I change my username?

    No, our system is organized for uniqueness and ease of use. If your parish name is spelled incorrectly or changes, just give us a call and we’ll create you a new one.

  4. My email address changed or there is a new youth minister. What do I do?

    Call us at 1-800-809-3902 and we’d be happy to help you.

  5. Do my codes for ym.lifeteen.com work on CatholicYouthMinistry.com?

    No, you should have received a new username and password in your email. If you didn’t receive these, please call us at 1-800-809-3902.

  6. I’m not a subscribing parish. Is there any way to get some resources?

    We try to put up a variety of free resources that anyone is able to download. Feel free to download those or if you want to subscribe you can get more information in the “Subscribe” section.

  7. We subscribe to Edge and we found a Life Night that works perfectly for our ministry. Can we download Life Teen resources too?

    Your access to resources is dependent on your parish’s subscription level. If you only subscribe to Edge, you only have access to Edge resources online. The same goes for Life Teen resources. If you would like to have access to both our high school and middle school resources, you can call us at 1-800-809-3902 to change your subscription level.

  8. Our parish subscribes to both Life Teen and Edge. Do we receive two usernames?

    We’re assigning one username and password to each parish. Your parish will have access to the right resources depending on your subscription level. Please share your username and password among the different leaders of your youth ministry.

  9. I was hoping Video Resources would be online. Are there any plans for online videos?

    We’re working hard on a solution for our archive of videos. Part of the immediate problem is that most of the videos are not digital and it takes considerable time, resources, machine power, and man power to move this project forward.   10. I like YM.LifeTeen.com more than your new website. What are you doing with the old website?

    All things must pass, including websites. We’ve created CatholicYouthMinistry.com with a lot of ideas and input to try and make it the best website for youth ministers. While we recognize there are still problems with our new website, we will soon be taking YM.LifeTeen.com down. We’re unable to support this website and will no longer be making updates to the site.
