In any ministry it is so easy to get burned out. It is our job as Music Directors to feed our ministers. We are responsible for making sure that they are given opportunities to deepen their faith and their relationship with Christ. Here are some practical ideas that may help you to keep your musicians on track and on fire for their Ministry.
- Affirm them often-let them know that they are doing a good job and that they are appreciated
- Have a get together at one of the Musicians homes and invite the Music Ministry so that everyone can socialize outside of Church and build relationships
- Hold a Music Ministry Retreat for you Musicians to deepen their faith and build community
- Bring in A clinician to speak to your musicians to ensure that they feel valued and appreciated.
Whatever you do, make sure that you feed your musicians so that our ministries can become stronger and stronger as the years go on. Our Church is in need of prayerful, humble musicians who can lead others to our Savior with this unique gift of Music Ministry.
