- Seeing the teen, who didn’t want to “get into it” because he was forced by his parents to go on retreat, standing in a large group of teens praying with his hands raised!
- Hearing your DRE walking by your office humming the tune from the closing song at Teen Mass last night!
- Watching 2 teen couples dressed for prom stopping by the Adoration Chapel to pray before the Blessed Sacrament before attending prom that night!
- Hearing your pastor defend his support of youth ministry at your parish in front of parish council
- Noticing a mom and her teen daughter standing in line to go to reconciliation following morning Mass on Saturday!
- Doing the first reading at the wedding Mass of 2 amazing Core Team members who met on Core by following their call to serve teens at your parish because of your invitation!
- Hugging a newly-ordained priest who was once a disinterested teen you remember standing in the back of the room not wanting to be involved in youth ministry at your parish when he first got involved!
- Watching your own daughter shyly leave your side to sit next to one of your Core Team members at Mass!
Glimpses? Yes – Glimpses that let you know you are making a difference! What are the glimpses that God is showing you these days? Are you too busy to notice? Take a minute and pause and think of what God has shown you recently! If today you feel like the world is falling apart around you or that you are making no progress, pause and think of the glimpses God has shown you in the last month! God is always moving, we just need to pay attention!

- Watching Ed sit back and listen at St. Ann’s on Holy Thursday as the congregation took the worship and sang at the top of their lungs the Gloria as Mass began.
- Having 140 women on retreat together worshiping a praying.
- Having the Life Teen ATL office full and even having visitors!
- Hearts united in prayer in front of the blessed sacrament.
Getting a call at 3 am from a teen to hear about her first kiss in her first year of college simply because she said you would be the first person she would call when it happened. Being the Maid of Honor as two former Core members celebrate the sacrament of Marriage. Watching two other former Core members get married while two teens (now adults) sing and lead worship at the Mass at Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral in Los Angeles (tear). Getting a facebook email from a former teen sharing her commitment to God and how much Life Teen meant to building her foundation. Really – I could go on and on cause God just showers me with glimpses constantly. Go God!
