Goal for the Life Night:
This Night will show how the Church’s mission and purpose is rooted in Apostolic Succession, and how we believe that the Church today is directly connected to Jesus and the first Apostles.
Life Night at a Glance:
The week before this Night, invite the CORE members to bring something that was handed down to them that has a special significance in their life. This Night is a fun night in which the teenagers will leave withan apostolic mission to build the Church. The Night starts with a fun hand-me-down clothes relay. The teaching begins with CORE members sharing their significant hand-me-downs and then moves into the teaching. After the teaching the teens will be given bricks to write the name of someone that they want to invite to LIFE TEEN. After sharing how easy or hard this mission to invite someone will be, the teens will commit to praying for these people and will stack the bricks in the youth room as a reminder to go out and build the Church as an apostle of Christ.
