Objectives of Retreat
Session 1: The middle school youth will come to a deeper awareness of the suffering that goes on in our world.
Session 2: The middle schoolers will understand what it means to “not be afraid” and to live a life serving others for Christ.
Session 3: The middle schoolers will understand how God’s strength helps them as young people in their journey to know Christ.
Session 4: The middle school boys will understand what it means to surrender themselves and their sins to God. The middle school girls will come to a deeper understanding of how to accept what they have been given by God, and to see themselves as Jesus sees them.
Session 5: The middle school youth will understand more deeply the mission that has been given to them during the retreat. They will be challenged to go out into the world and be the hands and feet of God.
