Life Night

Hope: A Life Night in response to a tragedy

Keywords: | | | |

Goal for the Life Night:

This night is designed to be used if there is a tragedy in your parish or local community such as illness, car accident, suicide or death. In moments of crisis, teens need a safe place to process, grieve and pray. It is important that the Life Night following a community tragedy gives teens this opportunity. The main goal of the night is to allow the teens to express their questions and emotions while also placing the tragedy in the context of the cross of Christ. We pray that this night will help your teens find hope in the seemingly hopeless situation and peace in the midst of turmoil. Each community and each situation is different, but the following outline can give a starting point to plan a night such as this. Feel free to adapt the night to fit the circumstances and the needs of your young people. If we can help you in any way please contact us at 1-800-809-3902.
