Goal for the Life Night:
The goal of this Night is to illuminate Mary as our mother, protector and helper in following Christ and building His Kingdom here on earth
Life Night at a Glance:
This Night is a great Night to introduce the teenagers to the grace of having a relationship with Mary, the mother of God. The Night will begin with a funny video of people being interviewed on the street about what they learned from their earthly mother. The teaching will talk about the gift that we have in our heavenly mother, Mary. The teens will then have some time to share about their own life and the fears that they may have that keep them from saying “YES” to God as Mary did. In order to bridge the gap that some teens feel between Mary, they will be invited to write their earthly mothers a letter of appreciation for all that they have done for them. This letter will make the gift of Mary more real to all of us and as a group we will pray the first decade of the Rosary together and challenge the teenagers to pray the rest of it on their own before they go to bed.
