Goal for the Life Night:
The goal for this LIFE Night is to help teens be more engaged in the celebration of Liturgy by increasing their understanding of the smaller details of the Mass as well as the ways they can be more actively involved in the celebration.
Life Night at a Glance:
One of the most important roles we have as youth ministers and CORE members is to help our teens fall in love with Christ in the celebration of Mass. That no matter where our teens go after they graduate, they would carry with them a love for Mass to their college campuses, jobs, and families. This night is geared toward that goal. It starts with a high-energy game show that will test their memory of the Mass they just celebrated. Then the teaching will highlight the smaller details of the Eucharistic Prayer that we often miss. The break of the night will divide teens into three groups based on where they are in regards to the Mass and give each group a chance to talk about how to get more out of the celebration of Mass. The Night closes with a sharing and blessing from your parish priest.
