Music From the Life Teen Fall Training in Boston

As I stepped out of the Boston airport, my body, which is accustomed to a temperature of 90 to 100 degrees, certainly felt a shock as it hit the 42 degree chill in the air. It was a good thing I remembered my jacket! Actually, my wife reminded me to bring it. I would honestly be lost without her. Although the weather was a bit chilly, the people I met at the Life Teen Conference were just the opposite.

Myself, along with the Ike Ndolo Band and several members of the Life Teen Staff and 16 Life Teen missionaries were welcomed to Boston with open arms. Special thanks goes out to the parish of St. Mary of the Assumption in Dedham for their hospitality and openness in welcoming all of us into their parish.

We joined the parish for their beautiful Life Teen Mass on Sunday evening and experienced the full, active, and conscious participation that the Liturgical Documents of our Church call us to. It was so beautiful to hear the teens, as well as the rest of the parish, and the conference guests singing and praying at the Liturgy. We also celebrated Liturgy each day in the beautiful Church building that has graced the city of Dedham since the year 1900.

Many conference participants asked for a list of the music used at the daily Liturgies and it has become our custom to list them after our major conferences and convention each year. Below you will find the songs listed out from each daily Liturgy, as well as a link to a page where you can find the sheet music and/or a recorded sample.

In this Year of Faith, may we continue to deepen our faith through the Sacramental life of the Church and may we continue to worship him with songs of praise and thanksgiving.
