My hometown is a short drive from Covecrest, Life Teen’s camp in the mountains of northeast Georgia. Since retirement, my father Steve Smith has become a regular at camp. Early in 2007 he led a small team that built an outdoor amphitheater by the lake.

To finish out the year, Dad built a water house to hold reserves to operate the camp for a day, should the water system go out for some reason. Check out the pictures:

While I was adding these pictures to the blog, I just heard two Life Teen employees talk about taking kick-boxing classes. So if you’re a bad guy who wants to break into our office and steal our copy paper, know that we aren’t going to go down easily.
