Goal for the Life Night:

The goal of this night is to help the teens understand how our faith calls us to care and protect the environment, and recognize it as a reflection of who God is. Finally this night will challenge the teens to live as faithful stewards of God’s creation.

Life Night at a Glance:

When you see a beautiful sunset, it is hard to deny that God exists. This Life Night explores our call as God’s people to care for the environment. The night begins with the teens working together to create art out of trash. The teaching for this night will explore the concept of what it means to be a steward of creation, both corporately and personally. The Break for this night will give the teens to reflect on what a “steward” is and how they can be better stewards of the things that God has given them. The Send for the night is a reflection on St. Francis of Assisi’s “Canticle of Brother Son.”
