Goal of the Life Night:
To help the teenagers experience what Christ meant when He said, “unless you are like a child, you cannot enter my Kingdom” and embrace their child-like faith through interaction with children.
Life Night at a Glance:
This night is meant to be a fun activity in which the teenagers will put on a carnival for children from the ages of 2 – 8. The carnival will take place after the latest Sunday morning Mass and before the LIFE TEEN Mass. This night will call for a good amount of promotion so that the parents know about the event well beforehand. You might need to form a committee of teenagers and CORE members to help collect all the games and prizes. You will need to decide how you want to cover the costs of the event. You can charge each kid at the door, or set up a donation jar, or publicize that it is a fund-raiser and all money raised above expenses will be donated to the youth group or a local charity.
