Job Description
The Office for Evangelization of Youth and Young Adults seeks a Program Coordinator to manage small and large scale programs and events throughout the Diocese. Qualifications include being highly organized and detail-oriented, able to multi-task, strong negotiation skills and the ability to work independently. Extremely strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary. An intermediate working knowledge of computer software applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and databases is necessary. Experience with web design is preferred. This position is full-time and requires regular night and weekend hours at events throughout the Diocese. A strong knowledge of the Catholic Church is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration or a related field and three to five or more years of relevant experience is required. Preference will be given to those with experience in event and project management or a certification in event planning/coordinator or project management.
