Goal for the Life Night:
This Life Night will explain Anointing of the Sick and who can receive this sacrament. This night will also help the teens understand that the healing power of Christ is both physical and spiritual.
Life Night at a Glance:
The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is often misunderstood. This night serves to explain the role of healing in Christ’s ministry and how this sacrament gives us access to His healing. This night begins with a game where the teens will respond to a medical emergency. The game leads into a teaching on Anointing of the Sick, how it works and its effects. The teaching leads into a time of testimony and then small group Scripture study. The night will end by giving the teens an opportunity to approach the Lord in Adoration and intercede for those who are sick. The night will close in prayer for God’s will to be done in the lives of all who are sick.
