Retreat Objectives
Session 1a: The goal of this session is for the middle school youth to discover the need for Christ in their lives and increase their desire to grow closer to him.
Session 1b: The goal of this session is for the middle school youth to recognize the greatness of God and see how He wants them to reflect that greatness to the world.
Session 2: The middle school youth will come to understand that Jesus reveals Himself in many different ways. They will be challenged to open their eyes to see His presence in their lives.
Session 3: The goal of this session is for the middle school youth to look back on their Baptism and realize how they are called to continue to live out that Sacrament today and for the rest of their lives.
Session 4: The middle school boys will come to recognize their sin and the need for the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the their lives. The middle school girls will come to see how the Sacrament of Reconciliation has liberated them from their sins and how they can live more fully in that freedom.
Session 5: The goal of this session is for the middle school youth to come to look at their faith in a new and innovative way, challenging them to change the world by the way they love.
