Goal for the Life Night:
The goal for this night is to help the teens understand that all moral truths are based in Christ and the Church has been commissioned to safeguard these truths. This night will address the problems of moral relativism and help the teens understand their role in being witnesses to the truth.
Life Night at a Glance:
This Life Night begins with the teens trying to get through a high security checkpoint. Every teen will have to present an ID to be able to get into Life Night. Once everyone is in, the youth minister will come forward with more security guards and take a few minutes to explain the high security. The Gather will lead into a teaching on moral truth based in Christ and safeguarded and commissioned by the Church. The Break will give the teens an opportunity to reflect on a Scripture passage and discuss how they have stood up and safeguarded truth in their own lives. The Send will stress the importance of the faith and give the teens an opportunity to have the Creed entrusted to them. The Core members will pray over the teens for courage to stand up for the faith. At the end of the night the whole group will recite the Creed together and close in payer.
