Goal for the Life Night:
 To demonstrate that marginalizing others is contrary to the Gospel of Jesus. The night will help acknowledge the overwhelming pressure to “fit in” which often leaves many of their peers on the outside looking in. They will see how their actions can either welcome or marginalize others, while reaffirming that “not marginalizing” does not necessarily mean “condoning”.  The goal of this night is to demonstrate to the teens how websites like “My Space” might begin as harmless “fun” but how they can create an unhealthy, unChristian environment and subculture that is both demeaning and demoralizing. Further, we want to equip the teens with practical insights and suggestions for how they can “put on” the eyes and heart of Christ when online and when immersed in such situations becoming a light to their peers.
