A Promise is a Promise: Covenants and Salvation History

The goal of this Edge Night is for the middle school youth will identify the covenants in the Old Testament that God made with His people (Noah, Abraham, Moses and David) and what it means to be a part of His family.

Life Night

I Swear: A Life Night on Covenants

This Life Night will give the teens an introduction and overview of the Old Testament covenants God made with His people. This night will cover the signs and promises of each covenant and how the Israelites chose to follow (and not follow) God’s covenants. Finally, this night will give the teens an opportunity to look at the covenants between themselves and God.

Dealing With Divorce

Objective:
 The middle school youth will come to a deeper understanding of the Church’s teaching on divorce and how to deal with its consequences in their lives. Overview: In today’s culture, divorce has become a norm. The majority of middle school youth come from families affected by divorce. This night will help teens understand that the Church is very clear on the issue of divorce. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states: Divorce is a grave offense against the natural law. It claims
