The Life Teen Youth Director is responsible for the development of spiritual formation programs and activities for Junior and Senior high youth. Programs include religious education, socials, recreation, athletic activities, and community service opportunities. The Director is responsible for recruiting volunteers, enabling, and supervising personnel for faith formation and the direct ministerial outreach of youth. An annual Youth Congress is formed under the leadership of the Director for the purpose of providing student leadership within the programs. The development and maintenance of the youth group website promotes the program and provides an information resource for participating youth. Works with existing staff to build synergies between the youth program and the other ministries at the parish.

Coordinator of Music and Campus Ministry-Serving two locations in Oregon and Walbridge, Ohio

St. Jerome Parish and Kateri Catholic Schools are partnering together to offer a full-time opportunity for an individual to serve as the Coordinator of Music and Campus Ministry. The Coordinator of Music and Campus Ministry will serve St. Jerome Parish as the Coordinator of Music Ministry and Kateri Catholic School as the Coordinator of Campus Ministry. The Coordinator of Music Ministry at St. Jerome Parish is responsible for facilitating the worship life of the parish community by coordinating and providing quality liturgical experience which celebrates and strengthens the membership journey of faith through music ministry. The Coordinator of Campus Ministry will serve Kateri Catholic Schools, which includes Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School and Kateri Catholic Academy. The Coordinator of Campus Ministry is responsible for supporting the mission of the school through various programs and educational opportunities that nourish the personal relationship of the students with Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate:

·is able to read, interpret and play traditional and contemporary music as well as to lead others into full active and conscious participation in mass.
·is capable of engaging in relational youth ministry which will help develop the faith lives of the students through retreats, service and liturgy.

·possesses a Bachelors Degree in a related field.

Good Shepherd Parish, Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, is looking for a full time, energetic and creative Youth Minister to work with our youth, primarily in the EDGE middle school ministry, Confirmation ministry and to restart the LifeTeen Program for High School age. There are about 75+ youth in this age group. The candidate should be familiar with the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program that feeds the Edge, Confirmation and LifeTeen ministries. This position requires a practicing Catholic who has a love for the Lord and a knowledge of Roman Catholic Theology, psychology, education, sociology and other relevant fields to be an effective leader and youth minister. Catechist certification and experience are preferable. The applicant should possess a bachelor’s degree and be an active member of a Catholic Community. The Youth Minister will be expected to be present on Sundays and days of programming and be able to demonstrate a strong love and knowledge of our Catholic faith and the ability to share this with all of our parishioners. The Youth Minister will also work with the Director of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Program, and the Pastor and music ministers on a weekly basis. Working under the supervision of the full time Coordinator of Youth Ministry, the Youth Minister must be able to work with the Coordinator to advance the parishes vision of youth ministry. Often times this includes working independently from each other in order to accomplish all that needs to be done.

Focusing on the spiritual and social needs of our local high school teens, middle school youth, young adults and families you will help them build bridges between their daily lives and their Catholic Faith. The Youth Minister position has a hands on, face to face and people centered focus.

Working with the volunteers (adult, young adult and youth) the Youth Minister will support, promote, maintain and be present to various volunteer led ministry programs (EDGE), young adult prayer groups, service projects, ministry skills groups (music, drama, etc.), faith and bible studies, various retreats (family, teens, young adult and middle school) and social activities.

Through being an increased presence in two local Catholic high schools and six local Catholic elementary schools, the youth minister will seek opportunities to attract an increasing number of Catholic youth by forming personal relationships with students and enthusiastically inviting them into parish life.

Job Description: We are look for an individual to work with Cathedral staff providing vision and coordination of ministry for all people from womb to tomb, focusing on developing and implementing comprehensive formation and evangelization programs for Gaylord-area Catholic youth and their families. St. Francis by the Sea of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, is seeking a practicing Catholic in good standing to serve as full-time director of Youth Ministry to develop and coordinate ministries to youth in grades 6-12. Responsibilities will include outreach and programming for Middle School and High School students and their families including weekly meetings, retreats, prayer services, social activities, catechesis, and service projects designed to draw youth into a fuller experience of life in the Church.
