Reach Team Members give an authentic witness, committing to 9 months of service and sharing their personal stories of learning to live as children of God. Team members transmit great Joy in knowing and loving Christ.

Reach Team Ministry communicates the relevant Gospel that reaches young women and men as they walk with God. Prayer, reflections, and presentations are framed by the unique challenges and joys of youth.

The goal is always to engage young people with zeal, fun and Christian Joy. The tone of the Reach Teams’ Ministry is communicated through games, humor and a clear desire to embrace each young person as a unique gift and blessing.

Do you have the spirit of a missionary? Are you a young adult who wants to do something radical for 9 months that will affect you and thousands of young people for eternity? The Missionary Staff at The Pines Catholic Camp are the core of our year-round ministry. These young adults are the ones who share our vision to empower individuals to lead a passionate Christ-centered life, with literally thousands of youth in East Texas. It is essential for the team to have a desire to foster a deeper awareness of Jesus in the lives of others, the church, and the world.
The Missionary Staff experience at The Pines Catholic Camp involves living in a Catholic community, working in collaboration with others to implement faith based retreats and programs, contributing to the needs of the camp to support the mission, all while growing in holiness with each other.
The daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: leading Confirmation, Awakening, and Leadership retreats for 8th grade through high school students including facilitating and processing within our Challenge Course. Also, teaching Environmental Education-experiential program designed for upper elementary students to have hands on activities in nature. Candidates should have a positive relationship with the Catholic Church, and be committed to growing in personal prayer, sacrifice and sharing in community prayer.
Missionary staff receives room and board, a bi-monthly salary, benefits package, and opportunities for spiritual and personal growth. Ministry staff commit to a 9 month period from late August 2012 to mid-May 2013 along with a chance to be a part of our summer camp ministry as well to follow.

• Summer Youth Ministry Program Team,

oCatholic Mission Trips has openings for our Summer Program Team. Applicants must be at least 20 years old, possess a deep love for the Catholic faith, a servants heart, and a willingness to endure minor sufferings all for the greater honor and glory of God. • Team Leaders

Must be at least 27 years old with prior mission trip experience and 2-3 years of youth ministry experience. (4 positions open) Team Leaders will direct the program team and implement evening program for all groups on the mission trip. Including music, games, skits, dramas, reflections, small group, and prayer.

• Catholic Musicians

We are also looking for dynamic Catholic musicians to lead the praise and worship during our summer mission trips. Applicants must know how to play the guitar and have prior experience leading music for youth ministry or college program. • Mission Trip Site Coordinators

Site Coordinators are responsible for coordinating the mission trip from each location. Site coordinators are most like Project Managers. They are in constant communication with all involved parties of the mission trip like the host parish priest, the building manager, the CMT team leader, the meal coordinator, and the transportation director. The site coordinator will make sure all logistical aspects of the mission trip are prepared in advance, functioning, safe, and smooth.

All positions are paid positions with travel, room and meals included. All team members will be required to do fundraising prior to the summer. Full time staff will spend time in the United States and also in a foreign country. All staff members must have a valid US passport. Training begins on May 20 with first mission trip starting June 3.
