Goal for the Life Night: To highlight John Paul II’s call to vocation, holiness, evangelization and his legacy of empowerment specifically to the YOUNG PEOPLE of our Church and our world. Life Night at a Glance: As the teens are gathering for the Night, they will have a chance to take pictures with the John Paul II cutout and to explore the John Paul II memorabilia scattered throughout the room. Pope John Paul II continues to be the chief youth minister in our Church. This retreat taken from the Pope’s Apostolic Letter – “NOVO MILLENNIO INEUNTE” that calls us all to enter this new Millennium contemplating the face of Christ. The theme song is off the “Declaration” album by Steven Curtis Chapman. We at Life Teen pray that this retreat will help the teens that you serve to truly follow our Holy Father’s call for them to become “Morning watchmen at the dawn of the new millennium.”
