Keys To Being a Great Core Member

I was training a group of young core members when I commented about what a great looking group of young adults they were. I think I said they looked like they could be in a Gap Ad. All of a sudden one of the girl Core Members asked me “What’s the perfect core member looked like?” I thought for a second and then immediately responded – “that’s simple – the perfect Core Member looks like Jesus”. So I thought as Catholic men we could translate this into how we live our faith authentically.

Teens, like all of us are relationship focused. At Life Teen, with a complete dependence on our Blessed Mother and our Eucharistic Lord, we continue to engage young people believing that quality, Eucharistic-centered, relational youth ministry has the power to transform parishes, teens, and culture. A Small Crack in the Window of Your Soul

We who work in youth ministry need to be aware of how the devil is trying to disrupt our ministry. We can’t fool ourselves into thinking that what we do in the dark, doesn’t affect what we do in the light. One small crack in the window of your soul is all the devil needs to start messing with you.
