Goal for the Life Night:
This Life Night will explore the social dimensions of the sixth, eighth and ninth commandments. This night will help the teens identify the sins and lies that create a culture of death in the way they view themselves, their families and other relationships. Finally, this Life Night will help the teens understand their role in promoting and defending the culture of life.
Life Night at a Glance:
We all live in a world that has distorted the truth of who God has created us to be. The foundational elements of our identity have become the subject of attack by the Evil One. This Life Night will give the teens the opportunity to look at a few specific areas that hit close to home and how they have been influenced by the culture of death. The night starts off with a skit that portrays the attack on the dignity of the family, sexuality and the media. The skit will lead into a teaching on the sixth, eighth and ninth commandments. The Break will give the teens a choice of three topics (family, sexuality, media) to break open in a deeper discussion. The Send will help create a battle plan to attack the culture of death in their own lives and defend the culture of life in concrete ways.
