Goal for the Life Night:
The goal of this night is to move teens from an understanding of the Theology of the Body to real-life struggles such as pornography, lust, masturbation, and immodesty.
Life Night at a Glance:
This LIFE Night is designed to demonstrate the ‘disconnect’ between our sexual design and the misunderstood/misused concept of sexuality that pervades our culture, specifically between genders. The environment will point out how quickly the innocence of our childhood is destroyed. The initial skit and talk will look at how we were created “in the beginning” and The Fall. The talk then moves to concrete ways that men and women fail to use their bodies as a gift in the way God intended such as pornography, lust, masturbation, and immodesty. Male and female rap sessions will break open this topic further, highlighting some of the unique differences that men and women face in this challenge. The Life Night ends with a time for the teens to lift up the opposite sex in prayer.
