Life Night
Goal of the Life Night:
To challenge the teens in their own faith walks, helping them to recognize the dangers of judgment and the effects of hypocrisy in their daily lives.
Life Night at a Glance:
This night has an aggressive and intentional message that we need to get rid of judgment of others in all parts of our lives. The night will start off with a semi-humorous role playing by the CORE members that sets the tone for the night. The environment of a carpenter’s shop will lend itself beautifully to the fact of Jesus being a carpenter and knowing how to use/shape wood. The night will give the teens an opportunity to pull the splinter out of the eyes of those they judge and be forgiven for the plank of wood in their own eyes. The night will send them with their own homemade crucifixes that will remind them of the effects of judgment and the one who came to forgive judgment and all sins.
