Goal for the Life Night:
To help teenagers realize both the power of words and the ripple effects that negative or unnecessary statements have on others. The night will address the roots of gossip that lead to sin.
Life Night at a Glance:
This issue night affects every teenager. The reality of gossip in our culture is widespread and destructive. This night helps teens recognize how and why they fall into the trap of gossip as well as how it affects them socially and spiritually. The night starts with a rumor circulating among the CORE about the Youth Minister. The teaching shows why gossip is a sin and the damaging affects it has. In small groups, the teens have a chance to process what part gossip plays in their lives. The send focuses on how our speech either tears down or builds up. This prayer time focuses on two things – the need for silence in our lives and how we can use speech to build up the kingdom of God.

- In the left column select Internet
- Uncheck Allow fast web view
- Uncheck Display PDF in browser
- Click OK, and try again
- The PDFs will display in a separate window rather than in your browser window.
