Job Description
Saint Paul the Apostle Church in Seneca, SC is accepting applications for a full-time Youth Minister. The ideal applicant will have a unique combination of energy, maturity, a passion for introducing teens to a Christ-centered life, excellent social and organizational abilities, computer and social network skills, and a sense of humor. This person will be responsible for Faith Formation and ministry to high school as well as middle school youth and will also coordinate the Faith Formation for Confirmation. Openness to using Life Teen resources and principals is important, as is a willingness to serve as a role model for the teens. Responsibilities include weekly youth meetings in addition to Bible study, retreats, service opportunities, summer camps and conferences as well as being a part of the pastoral team of the parish. Previous experience in Youth Ministry leadership is essential; being bilingual (English and Spanish) is a bonus. Salary is commensurate with experience.
