Job Description
International Youth Leader
We have 10 French and Spanish students coming to the greater Spokane, Chicago, Portland areas this summer. Each student will be staying with a volunteer American host family. The students come for 2-4 weeks. Their dates of arrival and departure vary.
We are looking for a youth leader to take this on. The youth leader will need to do the following:
1. (most important) Find and orient volunteer host families for 10 students — families can be all shapes and sizes. They do need to speak English, have time to spend with the student and able to provide a bed in a private or shared bedroom for the student. Families must live within two hours of the IAH airport.
2. Do an orientation with the students and stay in touch with them on a weekly basis. Be available if they need help.
3. You and/or the host family will meet the students at the airport upon arrival and return them to the airport on their departure day.
